Thanks for the memories. At the beginning of filming there was a thunderous noise. I ran upstairs and Jack was whaling away at a roof brace with a large hammer. Stop I yelled you are destroying the theater. Jack replied, theaters are art prisons and must all be destroyed to let art be free. Walter Langsford
