Lino Ventura, Monsieur Gangster January 11–25, 2011 at French Institute Alliance Française , New York

FIAF begins the new year with a series dedicated to the beloved character actor Lino Ventura, whose tough onscreen presence from the 1950s to the 1980s concealed a kindhearted and humble man. This retrospective presents some of his films, exploring the different facets of Lino's gangster persona.
